There are some BLOODY AMAZING Wedding Venues in Warwickshire, and I feel the need to point out my absolute favourites to you, just in case you’re in the market for a corker!….
I get it, there are probable hundreds of wedding venues in the area, so why these three?!
For one, they are all different budgets, and we at Amie Seal Photography like to be inclusive, and cater for all budgets. It’s not fair to just highlight the high end ones, because that’s just not how we roll…
So, let’s crack on!
It’s a gorgeous 18th century red brick barn…
Comfortably holds 140 people for the ceremony & wedding breakfast…
Killer sound system
Licensed until 1AM to hold the perfect party!
Shustoke Barn is a photographers dream.
The building itself has lush high ceilings clad with chandeliers, the walls are adorned with candlelight inside the brickwork & combined with the lighting feels a little bit magical.
The building wraps around a beautiful courtyard with a very English country garden vibe; trees and bushes are pruned to perfection.
Everyone loves a sweeping driveway, and it’s sat right on the edge of acres of countryside just begging to be photographed with the Newlyweds!
Shustoke Barn is in the little village of Shustoke, Coleshill, Warickshire

Absolutely love it.
The food at Shustoke Barn is sensational, and there’s a real intimate feel about the place, which is surprising given how tall the ceilings are. It always looks absolutely perfect, and there’s sooo many photo spots to choose from. It’s also one of the few places that looks just as beautiful at night as it does in the day, thanks the hundreds of fairy lights, twinkly lights and candles.
As well as the barn area and courtyard, next to the little foyer there is also a mezzanine floor which sits above the bar. It’s a great area to pop in a photobooth or additional seating. There’s a gorgeous port-hole window which I think everyone adores.
This Warwickshire wedding venue has my 🖤, as do the doors, which, is kinda weird to say! But I think one of its big plus points is that despite the actual footprint being quite small, it’s great that all the guests and Bridal party is never very far away.
Ashton Lodge Country house is a beautiful wedding venue set in the heart of Warwickshire, sitting on the border of Leicestershire & the West Midlands.
The main building was built in the Edwardian era, & has a large marquee attached for the wedding reception {as seen in the first picture}
The estate is surrounded by lush, and quite frankly, whopping, 3 acres of countryside.
They can accommodate up to 120 guests for the ceremony in their Garden Room, 150 for a formal sit down meal or 200 if more casual.
Available for outdoor ceremonies now also!
Ashton is located in Stretton under Fosse, a tiny village in Rugby on the cusp of Leicestershire and Warwickshire
Firstly, it’s beautiful.
The new owners of Ashton Lodge Country House have done a wondrous job on the renovation, they have really thought it through, really understood what was needed and there are now no gaudy carpets in sight! It’s crisp & clean, but they have kept all the gorgeous period features intact to keep its Edwardian Charm.
Ashton Lodge is an exclusive Wedding Venue in Rugby, meaning you have the entire place to yourselves. It also has a number of boutique bedrooms, I think about 15, so Great Aunt Mildred can wander tipsily up to bed when she’s had enough sherry…
The reason I love this place, is not only for the high ceilings, chandeliers & original fireplaces, it’s because the place just runs the day seamlessly. One half of the couple can get ready in the Wedding Suite, and the other in the Dressing Room, which is another feature from the latest owners. The Ceremonies take place in the Garden Room, which is bright & breezy, unlike many venues I shoot at, and the reception is held in the marquee; with no tables needing to be shifted about before the evening begins.
Other mentions, there is a little brick archway and paved area which is perfect for the confetti shot, the grounds make for a stunning backdrop with the acres behind you, but there are also some other charming little features such as a vintage tractor, a rope swing, a wooden country gate & a plethora of trees in such a formation that mades you feel like you’re in a magical forest.
I promise you, I am not on commission.
I’m just merely fan-girling because so very few Wedding Venues make my job this easy! How’s that for honesty?

Well, I mean, I think I’ve probably said enough.
However, if you want a stress-free day with everything covered, a place big enough to not feel constricted but small enough to still feel intimate, Ashton Lodge Country House could well be the Warwickshire Wedding Venue for you!
Edwardian Manor House set alongside 26 acres of beautiful grounds allowing for stunning outside photographs
On the boarder of Warwickshire’s Rugby and Leicestershire’s Lutterworth
Affordable venue with 20 hotel rooms available
Rural location but only 5 mins from major roads
Capacity for 250 people
Exclusive use availble
Catthorpe Manor has the best of two worlds, it’s a very affordable venue but also has the features of something much much grander!
The pillars at the front give off serious Downton Abbey vibes, and there are whole heap of photo spots to be used throughout your couple session; in fact, with this wedding I had to choose my very favourite spots only!
There are multiple locations available for the actual ceremony, inside one of the character-filled rooms, in front of the iconic pillars or in the woods. Yes, they have their own woods!
The reception and evening ‘do is in seperate buildings, so there is no moving of tables etc in order to get the party started.
Catthorpe is located in {you’ve guessed it} Catthorpe, a little village on the border of Rugby and Leicestershire

Really great little {not so little} venue!
The exterior and grounds of this venue are just sublime! Just so very many photo spots to choose from, I could easily have been with this couple for a few hours capturing every angle of this venue; as you can see, the weather was SIMPLY GLORIOUS!!!!
The food was also really lovely, I usually have a meal in the bar area at a wedding, but seeing as a wedding guests dropped out, I got to sample all three courses! {#sorrynotsorry} The wedding reception room was much smaller than the first two venues, but if you’re planning a smaller or more intimate wedding, it will have more than enough space!
This Rugby country house has may well be my new favourite affordable wedding venue within the Leicestershire / Warwickshire boundary. In fact, I really do hope I get to return soon and capture the other areas that there simply was not time for!
